When it comes to swinging through city streets as everyone's favorite web-slinging hero, there are few experiences quite like the latest installment in Activision's long-running franchise - The Amazing Spider-Man 2 PC game. While not without its share of minor flaws and some uninspired design choices here and there, this third-person action adventure still manages to deliver plenty of exciting gameplay moments that fans old and new will surely appreciate.

Gameplay-wise speaking, the core mechanics behind swinging around New York City haven't changed much since previous titles in the series. That being said, developer Beenox has done a solid job at ironing out any remaining kinks from its predecessor while still maintaining an overall sense of fluidity that makes navigating through congested streets feel smooth and effortless.

Of course, simply web-slinging around isn't enough on its own; fortunately for us gamers there are plenty other ways to keep things interesting too. Players will need use their reflexes quick thinking skills whenever they come across a group of thugs mugging innocent civilians - quickly dispatch them with well-timed combos before moving onto bigger objectives like rescuing kidnapped hostages or stopping villainous schemes from unfolding.

Graphically speaking, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 PC game looks pretty good overall although there are occasional instances where textures may become slightly pixelated especially when viewed up close. Still, this is still far better than some other recent releases we've seen recently so kudos must go to Beenox for trying at least!

The sound design on the other hand leaves much room for improvement; dialogue delivery feels robotic and wooden most of times making it hard sometimes to actually care about what's being said rather than just focusing solely on progressing through missions as fast possible.

Overall, while The Amazing Spider-Man 2 PC game isn't perfect by any stretch - minor technical issues aside - die-hard Spidey fans will still find plenty enough reasons why they should give this swinging good time a shot even if only for nostalgic purposes alone. Just don't expect too much in terms of innovative gameplay or story twists though; otherwise you might just end up feeling like Spider-Man himself - stuck between two worlds without knowing which way to swing.
